Relocate OK collects other people's long-term rental listings, merges duplicates, translates the text and converts prices into one currency. We own no property, take no commission and represent neither side of a deal.
The service in numbers
Every figure comes from the daily snapshot of our database — the same one the city pages run on. How it is computed is spelled out in the methodology.
What we do
One feed instead of the two dozen sites, groups and chats the rental market is scattered across. Our job is to collect, clean up and translate — not to hand you over to a broker of ours.
- We collect. Classifieds, property portals, agency sites and city groups on social networks are crawled every day, automatically.
- We normalise. Duplicates across boards are merged into a single card, prices are converted into dollars at the catalogue rate, and the title and description are translated into the language of the page.
- We name the source. Every card shows which site the listing came from and links to the original: you can check us, not just take our word for it.
Why this beats searching on your own
Five things no single site can give you — simply because each of them only knows its own listings.
- One feed instead of a hundred tabs. Classifieds, property portals, local agency showcases and city Facebook groups in one place. A sizeable part of the market lives only in the groups: an owner posts and waits for replies in the comments, and that listing never reaches a classifieds site at all.
- Filters across every source at once. Budget in dollars, city and district, property type, number of bedrooms, furniture, pool, balcony, sea view, whether pets are allowed. On the sites themselves these filters are either different on each one or missing entirely: inside a group you search by scrolling.
- You can see when a listing appeared. Each card carries the publication date from the source, or — when the source never gave one — the date we found the listing. Fresh is distinguishable from stale, and a listing taken down is marked as gone rather than quietly vanishing.
- The price is compared against the market. The card states how many per cent this rate sits below or above the city median — both for that number of bedrooms and per square metre, with the sample size and the snapshot date. A bargain is visible at once, not after you have opened twenty listings.
- Write to the landlord directly, in Vietnamese. We pull out the messengers the landlord left in the listing himself — Zalo, WhatsApp, Telegram, Facebook Messenger — and open the chat with one button. You write in your own language, we translate it into Vietnamese, and the messenger opens with the text ready. The conversation runs in your own account, with no middleman.
Why this is not an agency
In practice and in law we are a shop window for other people's listings. Three consequences follow, and it is fairer to state them up front.
- There is no commission. We take no part in the deal and no percentage from either side: the terms are set by whoever posted the listing.
- We do not inspect the property. The service does not visit homes and cannot vouch that the price and availability are still true at the minute you call.
- The source is responsible. The text, the photos and the contacts belong to whoever posted them; we display them and always link to the original.
How the service makes money
Looking is free and needs no account: the catalogue, the filters, the prices in dollars and the comparison against the market are open to everyone. We charge for work, not for access: picking the good deals out of the whole database, running the conversation and the haggling with the landlord in Vietnamese, going to a viewing instead of you. Sorting by value and instant alerts on listings priced below the market are paid too. A position in the feed cannot be bought and we sell no paid placements — the plans are described on their own page.
Getting in touch
Write to the Telegram bot: it carries the same feed, search by voice or text, and alerts about new matches. A mistake in a listing is easiest to report from the listing itself — the “Report a problem” button.
